"IISChart" Custom Charting Service" is a low cost charting solution for Financial Web Sites and Online Brokers.

The Service has been specifically designed for financial web sites that for some reason can not or don't have enough resources to develop a sophisticated charting solution themselves.

Also, the Service is designed to work with web sites that are hosted on various web servers (Windows, UNIX, Linux, etc.)

IISChart Charting Service is installed and run on StockMarketStudio.com web server. It is implemented as a set of ASP.NET components for Microsoft's IIS Web Server.

The implementation of the Service components inherits many benefits of the new Microsoft .NET Framework technology (i.g. super-fast image rendering). It also inherits many advantages of the new Microsoft's GDI+ graphical library, including possibility to use semi-transparent colors and gradient colors.

The Service automatically generates financial charts on requests from your web server or directly from your web site's users. The charts are generated as images in many graphical formats, including Internet standard GIF and PNG formats.

The Service generates financial charts based on the financial data that you provide. StockMarketStudio.com does not provide any data nor it recommends any particular data source.
The data may be delivered to the Service components in various forms. For example:

• comma-delimited files
• proprietary format binary files
• XML files

StockMarketStudio.com provides full customization of the financial charts generated by the Service for your specific needs, including:

• customization of the IISChart Chart Generator to work from your specific data feed
• customization of the chart templates: position, size and color of the graphical elements, etc.)

Multiple chart templates may be stored. This feature is particular useful when the you need to show charts of different types, sizes and styles.

ChartEdit.exe is a chart template editor utility, which is designed for webmasters who want maximum flexibility and freedom in customization of the charts' appearance.

It allows the webmaster to create and edit chart templates, load and store them as binary files. The files are to be stored and maintained on our web server and are used by the IISChart Service to generate charts with specific appearance.

The chart template editor is implemented as a stand-alone application for Windows and must be purchased separately. You don't have to buy the editor if you are satisfied with the one of the default chart templates that we have already developed. In many simple cases StockMarketStudio.com will help you to customize the chart templates accroding to your specification.

The IISChart Service can be configured to collect the log information about the chart traffic.

The log information can be stored in a log file in plain ASCII text format (comma-delimited file) or in Microsoft Access database format.
